Accessibility statement for PPulse mobile application

Poznan University of Technology is committed to making its mobile application accessible, in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Public Entities’ Websites and Mobile Applications.

This accessibility statement applies to mobile application PPulse for Android.

Compliance status

This mobile application is partially compliant with the annex to the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Public Entities’ Websites and Mobile Applications, due to non-compliances listed below.

Non-accessible content

Non-compliance with the annex

  • no alternative text on images, no alternative text on navigation icons,
  • no support for horizontal orientation, only vertical version available,
  • changing the text size results in clipping of displayed content,
  • no support for an external keyboard, e.g. to change the focus of elements,
  • incorrectly displayed modal windows, although the view is displayed “frontward” it is “backward” in the application structure,
  • no alternative ways to search for subpages.

Anyone has the right to send a request about digital accessibility of this mobile application or its elements. When making such request, please provide:

  • indication of the mobile application screen on which there is a digitally inaccessible item or content,
  • a description of what the problem is and what method of solving it would be most convenient for you.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible, no later than within 7 days of receipt.

If this deadline is too short for us, we will inform you. In this information we will give a new deadline by which we will correct the errors you have reported, or prepare an alternative way of accessing the content. This new deadline will be no longer than 2 months.

If we are unable to ensure the digital accessibility of the mobile application or its content indicated in your request, we will offer you accessing it in an alternative way.

Enforcement procedure

If, in response to your request, we refuse to provide the digital accessibility you requested, and you disagree with the refusal, you have the right to file a complaint.

You also have the right to file a complaint if you do not agree to use an alternative access method that we have offered you in response to your request.
